RistòItalia's cooking begins with what the Delta del Po produces each day: oily and white fish from the local market, mussels and clams from the Sacca di Scardovari lagoon, lagoon oysters and vegetables grown beyond the riverbank. Preparations remain deliberately simple — grilled, gently stewed or served with fresh handmade pasta — because excellent local produce needs no disguise.
Alongside fish, the menu includes meat dishes such as Tagliata d'Angus, boards of cured meats and cheeses, and oven-baked pizza for families and guests dining after a day on the embankments. The menu follows the seasons and the day's catch: oysters and shellfish in winter, grilled and cold dishes in summer.
We recommend booking at weekends, during local festivals and for tables of more than six. On weekdays, a table is usually available without advance notice. Book online or by telephone; for groups, business dinners and set menus, please write to us a few days beforehand.
The dining room is on the ground floor and can be reached step-free from the street entrance. The restroom can be used by wheelchair users only with a companion, not independently. Highchairs are available. On request, we prepare gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options; please mention intolerances and allergies when booking. Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome. Parking is in the free, unattended Albergo Italia car park, with more spaces in the adjacent street.
Guests staying at Albergo Italia or Alloggi Centrale dine just a few steps from their room: the restaurant is in the same building as reception.
