From Arlecchino to Albergo Italia
Our story began in a small village inn known to everyone as Arlecchino: a simple place where Delta fishermen found a hot meal after long days in the lagoons, and travellers a clean bed before continuing their journey. There was no luxury, but there was dignity: a pressed tablecloth, homemade bread and a promise worth more than a contract.
Over time, that inn grew with the community. It became a trattoria, then a lodging house and finally Albergo Italia: a historic three-star building overlooking the Po, with comfortable rooms and a seafood restaurant that still serves the catch from the Delta fish market. The name changed, but the spirit remained.
Today ABITA s.r.l. brings together Albergo Italia, Alloggi Centrale, Ristò Italia and Delta Escursioni experiences. It is a small family business that still believes in genuine hospitality and in the landscape that inspires it every day.
